8-month housing/room and board at my school is $7030 for a 12x12 double, which is immeasurably tiny. Not much better than $840/mo., and the dorms are ALL at least 35 years old. The last one was built in 1969, and most were built in the 1940s and 1950s. Trust me though, these aren't 'nice' old buildings.
