intel pentium 133mhz
1.61gb
32mb of ram
16mb onboard video card i think
maybe 12x cd drive

got it in fall '96 and it got fried in spring '99 by overclocking core speed to 166mhz. :(

It was an HP machine running a Celeron processsor (around the time it was first distributed to the market).

It was an abacus with only one bead because 2 bead abacuses hadn't been invented yet.

I bought my first pc in early 1999 from Gateway and these were the specs:

Pentium II - 400mhz
64mb ram
8 gig 5400rpm western digital HDD
4.8x dvd-rom
16mb 3dfx Voodoo Banshee
3.5in floppy drive
Soundblaster 64 based sound card
56k winmodem (dont know who made it)
Boston Acoustic 2.1 speaker/subwoofer (still use it! I should get some new speakers though)
15in monitor
..and of course a mouse and keyboard.

The very first one I had was an XT - 4.77MHz baby!

The very first one that I built myself was a 486SX/25 with 2mb ram and two 40mb HDDs.
