Still in college so I've yet to see, but I've managed to snag an internship for the spring and it'll be my first type of "job". I only know two things about it so far: its in Kentucky and its with GE. Waiting to see what I actually have to do.

Edit: To fix some confusion, by full time I mean 40+ a week.

I haven't technically had a full time job yet...been in an internship situation since 2007. Not a lot open in the realm of IT around here.

You made it to college without ever having a job? Geez. Must have been nice to have been so entitled. My ass had a job at 16.

I had a full time job when I were taking a break from my studies, where I worked as an office clerk. First "real" job is the one I have now as a teacher. (I have a M.sc. in microbiology)

had my first job @ 13 in local supermarket.

I worked at an investment casting foundry, back when stuff was made in the USA. Dirty, dangerous, exhausting... I'm hella glad to have degrees and sit in a cube now.

I wasn't counting full time during the summer, even for internships. I have no idea if we were supposed to.
