What was the forum drama going on when you joined?

I was going though some of the old threads the other day. So many great memories of this place. I remember hanging out with some of the ATOT night crew on one of the old messengers, MSN maybe?

I forget her handle, but the cute redhead that used to be a regular here, posting about a rare night out, and getting hit on by a guy at the bar wearing a sponge bob shirt, had me laughing so hard I almost passed out. Then there was eakers. She was a sweetie pie, and I was pissed the dorks here chased her off by harassing her. ATOT was home of the OG incels.

Now the dirty dozen is all that's left.

I think it was "Change of Culture"

About half the people here were telling me how good it used to be. The other half were obsessing over Reese Witherspoon.

That about sums up my journey to ATHD then one day (almost a year later) I ventured into ATOT. Then some @olds guy lured me into the basement where I befriended CasioTech, PAB, yakko, Baked, MacBaine, PowerMac4Ever, Skoorb, etc., the rest is history. It's crazy to think how long ago that was, just after Y2K. Finally, I'm embarrassed to admit I spent so much time here it was basically an unpaid part time job, lol.

Sadly, I wasn't here to witness @ElFenix 100k post.

Not when I joined per se, but I remember it seemed like half the fucking forum was against me re gamergate; in their eyes I was a "feminazi".

Back in the day when I first joined here there was a proper 'live in a shack' loony that was well into biblical conspiracy theories and was a very much "if your sons or daughters are gay you need to take them behind the woodshed and shoot them" type. He was a proper loony and I was glad there was an ocean between me and him, he was the first person like that I'd come across that wasn't in a secure facility!
I wish I could remember his user name.
