When you first got on the internet, what was the first URL you typed in?

My first was Toyota.com, because it was advertised a lot.

I don't remember, but I think it was probably cnw.com -- my internet provider at the time, I think. I can't remember anymore, to be honest. CNC was a local ISP...

I think the first one was my ISP's home page (default). Second one was Yahoo. Of course, that was on Lynx before I knew how to set up Trumpet Winsock on my Windows 3.1 box :p

Netscape.com was the first paged opened.

I actually paid for Netscape back in the early 90's (bought the disk from Egghead).

Probably Mosaic since that was my first browser on my ancient Apple Performa 630CD blazing along at 33MHz, 2x CD-ROM, 2400 (maybe 14.4) and 10MB of RAM!!!!

My first multi-computer network was Quantum-Link in the mid 80's (soon to be AOL) on my Commodore 64.

I think my first was my ISP page and the second was webcrawler.. damn I use to use that a lot, I haven't even been to the page in like 2-3 years. I switched from Webcrawler to altavista, then to google
