Probably Mosaic since that was my first browser on my ancient Apple Performa 630CD blazing along at 33MHz, 2x CD-ROM, 2400 (maybe 14.4) and 10MB of RAM!!!!

Oh cry my a river! 😉 Quadra 605. 25MHz, NO CD-ROM, 250 MB HD, 8 MB of RAM... not my first computer, but the first one that made it onto the Internet. First web page probably home.netscape.com, because it would have been the default home page for Netscape 1.12. Second one was Yahoo.

Ok you win, narrowly by a margin 🙂

Think it might have been netgear.com, the maker of my router, because it was the test page it sent me to right after I set up my router.

netscape.com

I never even figured out how to use the web until after a few months because the guys did not even give me a browser so I'd just screw around with their archie clients.

There didn't used to be a "playboy.com"....it was "www.lovesexy.com". That was back before DNS really took off and names became more "company" oriented. (1993/1994)

I would say my first site was something very basic from prodigy or sprynet since those were some of my first access points to the net. I don't remember much about specific pages because search engines were virtually non-existant back then. You had to own an "Internet Yellow Pages" book to get anywhere on the net. 😉
