3.0/3.1. i just remember playing solitaire and minesweeper at a friends house, with a folder called "the internet shop".
Lots of old farts in here...
I used to have to walk uphill BOTH to and from the computer lab, sonny boy, while carrying boxes of floppies in blizzard-like conditions!
Oh, and GET OFF MY LAWN!
the first windows I used:

Floppies?
I remember using electrical tape to cover the erase protect notches in cassette tapes so I could save programs on a weekend when I ran out of "data" cassettes!
Accidentally recorded over one of my Led Zeppelin tapes, forgot about it and put it in my stereo deck and when I expected to hear "When the Levy Breaks" I was greeted with a mirror cracking squeal that would have sent dogs running for cover for blocks. Those were the days! :awe:
LOL...I used to store my stuff on these...you damn whipper snapper!

I do remember lots of floppy disks. I also remember the 1st 5-1/4" floppies from Radio Shack were almost $10 each. I don't remember how many K the 5-1/4" floppies held...maybe 1.2Meg?
Edit: It was at first 360KB at 40tracks and then the higher density 80 track versions arrived at 1.2Meg.
The first hard drive I saw (high school computer lab in 1985 or so) was about as big as a PC, in it's own, external case and was a whopping 5MB. Boy....I am old.
Edit: This HD - 5MB
