What was the first concert you ever went to?

Only been to two of them, the first were string quartets by somebody (did Shostakovich write any), the second was some Bach and Handel. The latter was the superior concert.
 
First concert I would sadly have to say Kenny G lol...with my parents when i was a weee lad.

First real concert was Dave Matthews Band
 
ZZ Top in the Summit, Houston, Texas.


They had a Brahma and a Buffalo on the stage on left and right of them.

Had to stop the concert for a couple of minutes and tell everyone to be quiet cause the animals started banging around in the cages.

I was sitting on the floor at the bottom and narrowly averted getting thrown up on by some girl standing to my left.

I think I got hearing damage from that concert.

I saw that tour up here in Portland... It was awesome! Even though I had a pretty bad fever, and it was all I could do to not throw up during the show. But I wouldn't have missed that little guy for the world! 😉

But my first concert was Triumph, a couple of years prior to that Dio show.
 
Metallica -- 1989 -- Justice Tour

Sat 20' from one of the big racks of speakers. Ears rang for a full seven days. Neck was sore for about that long too. Man, what a time that was....
 
VERY first? wow...that's a LONG time ago...something western when I was a kid with my parents...first rock concert I got to go to, was the Liverpool 5, in ...65? something like that. Had the opportunity so see some of the old greats however. Moody Blues, Jethro Tull, Santana, Chicago, Z-Z Top, Steppenwolf, Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, wow...so mamy years ago...back when tha air was clean, and sex was dirty...HA!!
