What was the first concert you ever went to?

I'll admit it...when I was really young my mother took me to see John Denver.

HOWEVER, the first concert that I officially went to without any parental supervision was Ronny James Dio, the Last In Line tour at the Forum in L.A. on November 23, 1984.

i think it was clint black with my parents.

during teenage years.......it was a hodge-podge concert put together by the local radio station and the headliner was duran duran.

I saw Catch 22 and Midtown at the Vanderbilt (when it was open in LI, NY). My older brother took me with a few of his friends back in 1999 or 2000. It was awesome.

Awesome! Priest is one of those bands I didn't appreciate at the time.

My parents used to bring me to JazzFest when I was a baby...I don't know, I've been to so many festivals and concerts I can't really place the first I truly remember.

Midtown has always been great in concert.

They were pretty good back then, but the main attraction for me was Catch 22.

It was a great show. Halfords voice was in top form that night. Totally kick-ass. I was 16, and it was my first trip into the city.

Do I have to answer truthfully?

I remember being really young--6 or 7 at the most, I guess, and my mom took my sister and I to see Shawn Cassidy.

The 1st "real" concert I consider to be the Stray Cats.

Live8 last july....

I primarily listen to rap & trance, I'd rather not get shot at a rap concert, and trance artists don't really put on concerts.

Harry Chapin and Bread. Bread was the headliner but Harry was better.

Harry Chapin was the second concert I ever went to. I'm thinking about starting a Chapin tribute band...

When I was about 12 I got to see Itzhak Perlman playing some Mozart and Beethoven violin sonatas, and a few Bach Partita if I remember correctly. Great concert. I got to see Itzhak again last year.

I've only been to two non-classical concerts: Crystal Method and KMFDM 🙂

Metallica..

September 3rd, 1999 at Portland Meadows.

Days of the New and Jerry Cantrell opened.

Days of the New rocked, Jerry Cantrell sucked.. and of course Metallica blew our minds.
