A lot of people are attacking me but most know im right but are to afraid to admit it. Call me anti-PC but calling me ignorant is just wrong. An art major is just a waste of a seat that a LEGITIMATE student could have taken at a college--who wants to say im wrong at that point.
Actually at college now and if you think art majors are smart you have another thing coming. The art majors at my school are the stupidest people ever.

Sorry but I think you are highly misinformed about art majors. Hey I will give you the benefit of the doubt and say it is your school. Hell, maybe it is just that you are so brilliant that everyone looks stupid compared to you. I assume you are paying 100% of your own tuition(you know since you think any art major is a spoiled brat) and that you are at the top of your class. Otherwise sit down and shut the fvck up. My art teacher right is one of the best teachers I have(she has three degrees but I will have to ask her what they are in).
I assume you are either at school on a scholarship, or working 40+ hours a week correct? You have a 4.0 correct?

No im not paying my tuition my dad is. But like i said an art major is a waste of money/seat. If you dont understand that an art major is useless than im sorry. Think of the person who didn't get accepted into college, who planed on using his degree to get a job, because an art "major" got accepted. Unless it is an art school, art shouldn't be a major PERIOD.

the purpose of college != getting a job, It is an institute of higher learning. As many have said, colleges/universities were not always glorified technical/vocational schools. So really unless it is ITT it shouldnt be a major period? I know many brilliant people who are arts majors. Hell I am and English/EE putting my own ass through school. The EE is goign fine, but I may drop it because its just a backup in case English doesnt work out and I really dont think I would be happy doing it for more than a few years.
