No greatest invention of all time. Plain and simple. Everything is made up of something else already invented or discovered. Look at computers. They use circuits, transistors, etc. Stuff that was all invented before. Technology builds on itself.

Nice to finally agree with BenSyWalker about something () - the printing press is easily the greatest invention. It has enabled us to spread education and culture to the masses. Every other invention follows from it.
