What VOIP service do you use?

I have been using Ooma for 6 months with 0 problems.
It has already more than paid for itself. ($0 monthly fees with their basic service).

Another vote for Ooma here - it's all free after it's paid for itself. Wish I can forward it to GoogleVoice to get messages transcribed tho but am too cheap to pay for that extra service. If not for Ooma, I probably would've canceled land line service altogether and use cell phone only but it's a nice backup.
 
Ooma as home line. Google voice for international land and mobile calling. Skype for computer to computer. All three are great. Ooma paid for itself long ago. I bought it at Costco so it will go back if the company goes out of business.
 
The main problems I have with Ooma are lack of convenient way to record calls, and that you have to pay for the premium service at $10/mo to block specific numbers.
 
Skype. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. If I call land lines or Skype-to-Skype, it comes in crystal clear. Cells, not so much.
 
I have the Vonage $4.99/mo retention plan (comes with 0 minutes) and I pay metered. After tax and international calls comes out to ~$15/mo.
 
If you have cable and dont have a VOIP phone and internet bundle -shame on you! I use Charter and have been happy as a clam for about a year.

I'm on the Comcast plan with a few months left on the introductory offer of $19.99 mo. Very reliable. I had one outage when a tree fell on the cable and damaged it.
 
Can somebody explain the different ooma options to me? What's the difference between the "hub" and the "telo"?

If I want to be able to loop my home phone lines into the system and use my traditional cordless phones, which one do I need?

On the same topic, what's a good SIP client for Windows? So far I'm just using it on my iPod Touch when I'm travelling in a roaming area using Acrobits but haven't really seen any decent Windows clients.

The Hub is the original model and the Telo is the newer one. The differences is the Telo has Bluetooth & Google Voice support, where the Hub doesn't. The Telo also should be getting more updates in the future that add new features. Not sure if anything new's coming to the Hub. I have the Hub and love it, Both will work exactly the same with a cordless phone. If you need BT or GV definitely go with the Telo,
 
I used to use ATT Callvantage before it was cancelled as an offering. At that time I switched over to VoipO. I've been using VoipO for over 1yr with satisfactory results. The annual price is very competitive. Their customer service has been helpful. I had only 1 issue that they resolved on their end within a few hours.

They don't have the TOS caps around usage that I've seen on other offerings, well, at least they didn't when I signed up. Customer service is (intended to be) online based but is (has been) very responsive when needed.
