Cons:
Hot and humid, killer heat in summer
Lack of quality <high paying> jobs (even if you have a college degree and experience)
Rednecks/Bubbas/Hicks/White Trashes and their kinds are everywhere
Most of the people never learn how to drive or to use the turn signal
Crimes are getting worse
The low class mentality of the majority <never think long term>
Worse road/bridge system in the nation (our state has 10 billion dollars backlog)
If you are young and hip, there are nothing here for you to do or entertain
High car insurance rate <we are right behind New Jersey because there are tons of our drives are driving bare>
Broadband monopoly, there are BellSouth and Cox, touch luck if you want something else
Pros:
Low cost of living, fairly cheap housing
Folks are more friendly than up North
Low property tax <homestead exception>
Some of the most pretty girls are from down south

I don't see why a large Asian population would be considered a bad thing....
Not until the city and schools have to start posting signs and sending out newsletters in Asian languages since a lot of people in my city don't speak any English. Add to the fact that the city had to enforce much tougher laws against businesses and allowing new licenses since they were afraid of Asian strip malls.
Before you shout out "BAN BAN BAN" against me, you have to understand that my city prides itself on being an older type of city with a unique atmosphere in what is now a Southern California that is replete with new sub/urban communities and tract housing.
That's funny. My city is mostly Asian (white people are less than 25-30%) and I never have had trouble with people refusing to speak English. I also grew up is SoCal and went to college near Pasadena and I never had a problem with people refusing to speak English.

i live in the foothills of the Adirondacks, nothing much frustrating here except i have to drive 30 minutes to get to the movie theater.
muggy is a good one.
i hate the humidity here in SW Ontario... sucks
I don't hate too much else really about my town, it's not too big, not too small, has good enough entertainment, is reasonable to live (price)

i think the asian people in my town get S-classes and 7-series because they think the safety feature will make up for their poor driving!

this year it's awful here...
the entire month of july i've been hiding in A/C because it's too disgusting to go outside and be physical... i'd just sweat and pass out from heat stroke.. it sucks.

When I did my 20 years in St. Louis, what sucked was
the heat, humidity, freezing rain, and suspiciousness of all the natives.
If you're not exactly like them in every way, it's cause for comment.
Totally racist place, too.

same weather here in upstate NY, but hey, it won't be long and the snow will be flying again.
but i agree, it's hard to go for an outdoor run in this weather.

My only complaint? Rain rain rain rain rain... (Portland, Oregon). I do admit that it's been pretty good lately though.
