And housing is very overpriced nowadays .... $1.5M for a 2500sqft home .... but I guess it keeps the area "exclusive"

I live in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

You forget crime and alot of sluts? Wait not all of those are bad, unless your looking for a girlfriend.

LOL, sadly I don't have much of an issue finding a one night stand but have been having one hell of a time find something more meaningful.

And yes, crime is pretty bad, worse in Miami though where I work.

The sports fanchises, the crime, the traffic, the GOD DAMNED CITY WAGE TAX, the mayor, the city planners, the ignorance of random people on the street, the insurance rates, the price of houses..... I've lost the will to go on. :(

Exactly what I was going to say. John Street is a moron!

an animal corpse rendering plant stinks up the whole city.
low average educational level, high HS dropout rate, low-wage jobs.
poor/no city planning for growth, traffic, real-estate developers own the politicians.
hot in summer, foggy in winter, streets flood during rainstorms.
worst car theft rate in nation.
lots of meth labs in the area.

you find all this in modesto, ca.

They change something there? When I was TAD at NAS North Island it was actually pretty easy to get around by bus and inexpensive as well. I thought they had since added in light rail to augment the bus system.

Ft. Lauderdale is the Theft capital of the united states, or atleast it was about 4 years ago. From what they have been saying about BSO things are getting worse. *BSO Broward Sheriffs Office.

Probably the rain.

That's about the only thing I can think of. Otherwise, I love Portland.

(San Marino, CA ... aka, Chan Marino)

But the good certainly outweigh the bad. Pasadena and it's great places (Old Town, Paseo, CalTech) are literally a 2 minute drive away. Downtown LA (Staples Center, Convention Center, etc) is about a 15 minute freeway ride. We also have the Huntington Gardens and Library here. Plus the public schools are top-notch.

Too many asians in San Marino?? Try living in Monterey Park or Rowland Hts.! You are damn lucky to be in San Marino, thats like one of the nicest cities in LA.
You're a fscking douche.
