Too many Asians (and subsequently, Asian drivers)
And housing is very overpriced nowadays .... $1.5M for a 2500sqft home .... but I guess it keeps the area "exclusive"

(San Marino, CA ... aka, Chan Marino)

But the good certainly outweigh the bad. Pasadena and it's great places (Old Town, Paseo, CalTech) are literally a 2 minute drive away. Downtown LA (Staples Center, Convention Center, etc) is about a 15 minute freeway ride. We also have the Huntington Gardens and Library here. Plus the public schools are top-notch.

Its dirty, its ghetto, there are waaay too many poor homeless crack heads, GM fvcked us over, our mayor is a crazy former felon who got rich from his car dealer ships...that just scratches the surface.

BTW, Flint, MI, city with one of the highest per capitia crime rates in the U.S of A...

Overall pretty good but ATL has:

Lots of traffic
Crime
Stupid metal plates on roads
Peachtree everything for road names
Some rough areas

Why not list some of the pros you can think of?

Georgia Tech
Tech jobs
Good restaurants
Some nice areas
Fry's
IKEA
Not super expensive to live here I think...

Taxes
Too much growth (to which we contributed)
Not pedestrian friendly
No real downtown "life"

Crazy tunnel bottlenecks that cause traffic backups that are several miles long
Tourists ... which add to the above problem
Too many military people
1 or 2 Hurricanes a year
No major league sports teams
Suburban sprawlin most areas
Downtown area isn't too great
Public transit sucks ... slow busses, no trains

Norfolk/Virginia Beach, VA

What sucks about Philly? Hmmm...

The sports fanchises, the crime, the traffic, the GOD DAMNED CITY WAGE TAX, the mayor, the city planners, the ignorance of random people on the street, the insurance rates, the price of houses..... I've lost the will to go on. :(

its muggy/humid/hot
gravel driveway and road are horrible to car
everytime we have a storm (lightning/thunder) the phone lines screw up so I always come back home to find the DSL router screwed up and needing a reboot.

I basically live in the woods. Its not that bad (I like the house, and it being quiet), I just hate the road. It is a rent house and right now I'm planning on moving next year.

Omaha, NE:

Hot and Muggy summers: We averaged 89 degrees for the last 30 days. Certainly not as hot as say, Arizona, but the humidy is above 70% on most days.

Job market for IT sucks. I've got 7 years of experience and a 4 year degree and I can't land a job. Been looking for 3 months and have over 50 apps in.

Property taxes suck ass. My house is valued under $200,000, I've got about a 1/3 acre lot, and my taxes are over $5,000 a year. BAH!
