Fast enough to do dictation, etc without looking at the keys or making mistakes. I can usually transcribe conversation if need be.

Quick hunt and peck. Only need to look down to center. Can crank out 50 or so wpm (average 30 or so last I checked) when I really get flowing with minimal errors (so long as its English. I can fatfinger commands like no other)

I'm a mix between Fast messy typing and Formal Home Row.

I never need to look at the keyboard, but don't always use the tradtional fingers to press certain keys and don't always have my hands put over home row.

Almost formal - I can do everything using touch typing except the top row numbers. For touch typing lots of numbers, I usually switch to the number pad.

I had a broken arm during our typing class rotation in middle school, so I had to learn how to type fairly quickly with one hand. I averaged 42wpm with one hand. I've never really tested to see what I could do with two, but I know I can type fairly fast without looking at the keyboard.

I'm in between options 3 and 4. I don't use the home row perfectly, but I do use it and don't need to look at the keyboard unless its a word that is long and confuses the hell out of my fingers.
I naturally settle on the home-row and on the keyed keys (F & J), but my fingers don't naturally go to the keys that are dictated in perfect-form typing. So I'm a messy home-row typist. :p I'll vote for the last option though. ;)

Fast and messy, sometimes need to look at the keyboard to get the right keys and sometimes need to think about where my fingers are going next... :(

fast and messy, never could get used to the home row, my hands are pretty big, maybe if they made a bigger keyboard...

A blending of "fast messy typing" and "formal home row method." Looking at the keys can sometimes screw me up, as there's too much lagtime between my mind requesting that my fingers more to a certain key, and the muscle-response time - things start to get out of sync between my eyes and hands.

In between the last two. My left hand types "correctly," but my right hand is all over the place. I don't need to look at the keyboard though.

Works well for normal typing, but typing in Japanese is a bitch because it's so dependent on vowels on the right side of the keyboard.
