probably an &quot;average-speed&quot; connection though.

It doesn't seem that fast, but I know that cable speed varies between location, server and the company (Shaw Cable).

I have a nice fast internet that is practically banned from all Efnet servers. Stupid Cox Communications!!! They should all burn in hell and suffer before and after they get there.

Hey, I'm on a blistering 26,400 too Cable is supposed to be available now. I was told to have basic cable installed, then order the @home service. Did that. Now I am told it is not available to me :| Two houses within sight of mine have cable, but they are on a different street. Freakin Comcast :disgust:

A fellow NetZeroer? Too bad its just 40 hours per month. I got DSL for a year, then cable for a year. Cable rocks! Then I quit my job and had to give up broadband for dialup. I HATE DIALUP!!! It's really, really slow.

If anyone is considering a change from broadband to dialup to save some cash, I suggest you breakup with your girlfriend, or sell some heroin. Anything is better than dialup!
