well, i think i have the slowest....naturaly.....

i connect at 21600, through the modem router in a closet under the stairs. try sharing that with 3 other people, it gets really, really slow.....:| I can't get dsl or cable. I might be in range for IDSL, but if I get a fast internet connection, it has to be cheap, because my dad is cheap.....

LadyTech - how is you connection for games? i heard that there is a 1 or two second delay when you open webpages, etc. also, how much per month is that?

I have pigeons that fly from tree to tree relaying the packet info until they get close to the city where they can call the info in. Oh, wait- I guess that's what they call a DIAL-UP. Oh, yes, the wonders of living in the sticks.

Blueghost, sorry I don't play games.. I'm much too uncoordinated for them. As my max speed WAS 24K.. this connection flies for me so I don't notice a lag. A bit on the steep side..you have to have a Dish Network setup, then "Starband" as an add on for the internet connection.
I get 150 tv channels and my internet for about 100/month...but it's worth it for me..

56k winfax modem gunning at 45,333bps (i've had highs of 49,333bps) woo hoo
the only - and absolutely only - advantage this type of modem has is its fax
capability. ok, maybe one more - saves gobs of money too - and you do learn
to appreciate patience - does this count as a spiritual benefit ?

Charter Communications cable. It's supposed to be 256 down / 64 up, but I've tested it a few times and it's always in the 370/80 range :D Fast enough for me.
