Newhart

"That settles it, no more Japanese food before you go to bed." was seriously one of the funniest moments in television history.

This thread make me want to go back and watch TNG "All Good Things..'" again. Gotta be the best finale ever. LOL at the VOY ending.

Seinfeld wasn't too bad...

LOST had no chance, they couldn't have ended it in a way that people would have liked. Great show, will never watch that ending (or maybe the final season in general) again.

Best Finale Ever?

I was gonna say...how did this thread (on a hardware forum) go more than five posts without a TNG mention? Possibly the best final episode in television history.

Hardly,
I'm a huge Trek Nerd, but All Good Things wasn't very good IMHO.
The final episode of DS9 was great. It brought closure to the story lines, had lots of action, yet left endless possibilities open.
I think DS9 while darker than TNG and darker than Roddenberry envisioned the Star Trek universe, held more to his desire to explore the human condition.

I also like the final episode of the Shield, and M*A*S*H

Why? She outsmarted the Borg Queen, and got them home by traveling through time. It was awesome!()🙂

UUGGGG.
Voyager was horrible. STOP WITH THE TIME TRAVEL BS!!!!11!
The only way she "outsmarted" the Borg Queen was by traveling back in time, giving Voyager advanced tech. Which is completely against the character, though that did seem to be the way Janeway was written. In some episodes she would never break the prime directive, in others, she'd just as soon take a bloody dump on the person that wrote the prime directive than follow it.
Somehow in the final episode, Checotay and 6 of 9 are dating, complteely out of nowhere.
Then they get home, and it's over. No mention of them finding closure to any of their other issues, or finding out where they went. Just ok, we're through the tunnel. The End.

Fullmetal Alchemist: The Conqueror of Shamballa

I know it did not follow the manga but it was good end to the show.
