In Denver it was on Channel 2, which is now "the WB" here. TNG and DS9 were on Channel 2, probably so they had something else to show besides the same movies over and over.

I always watched it on 22 I think. Although I'm pretty sure the series was a few years old before I started watching it.

Oh, ABC = 22/cable 4 around here.

It was UPN for me. Always was. I guess different regions have different station affliliations.

UPN didn't become a channel until 1995.

TNG was a first run syndicated show so it was on different stations in different places, mainly independent stations that eventually became UPN. DS9 was the same.

Voyager and Enterprise were/are on UPN stations primarily because they're made Paramount, the P in UPN. Some places have those shows on CBS which is owned by Viacom, just like Paramount.

ST:TNG originally launched in 1987. UPN was not launched until 1995.

edit: TNG was aired on channel 12 or KPTV, a then independent station. This was also the same station that ran all the syndicated TOS episodes when I was a kid.

it is amazing how few correct replies there are

of course, it might be a symptom of the question being completely retarded to begin with

KPTV is just the local designation though, isn't it?
