In New York City I think it was on Channel 11, which later became the WB. I could be wrong though.

Yeah, I seem to remember it was Syndicated. It was on KTHK TV-44 in the Bay Area if I recall correctly, which later became UPN... if I recall correctly.

That's what I thought also, but I never watched the show.

I remember seeing it on UPN but I didn't start watching until the later few seasons.

Correct.

Star Trek TNG originally aired on our local KPTV channel 12 which later became UPN and recently FOX.

So it was during the pre-UPN era.

Confused yet? Good :)

back in the hills of VT before they brought us the wonders of cable in '97, I watched it on ABC 22 over the airwaves from my big antenna on the roof. They showed new eps every saturday when they came out, and syndycated reruns during the week.

We didn't have FOX or UPN, we had ABC, CBS, and NBC if you lived on top of a mountain by the transmitter. Lousy mountains.

It originally aired on Channel 13 in my neck of the woods. Channel 13 is a FOX channel now, but I'm not sure what network affiliation it had back then (if any).

100% wrong.

TNG & DS9 were syndicated, Voyager & Enterprise are on UPN in most markets.

star trek tng was syndicated and didn't air on one particular network. usually wasn't on a network station, unless it was a fox station.

WRONG!!!!!!! Enterprise is on our CBS affiliate. UPN stations play alot of star trek because UPN is a sh!tty network with very few exclusive shows, so they have to buy syndicated shows. This is the same reason why TNG and DS9 were mostly on fox stations. At the time fox didn't have enough programming.

Let me ask you this: do you have a UPN affiliate? Often times in markets lacking one affiliate that network will sell some of their popular programming to rival affiliates. Case in point: in Bridgeport, CA The Simpsons airs on CBS, as there is no FOX affiliate.

considering UPN didn't exist for most of TNG's run (if any), you're wrong.
