I made the mistake of commenting, in the presence of this one woman that I found it ironic that bush was so pro-life, yet was all for killing thousands of Iraqis. Yikes, that set her off. 🙂 know any good fuel for the fire? I'm not really that anti-bush, I think it is important to be well-balanced when considering him though.
What she is (to better assist in coming up with examples)
Christian
pro-life
pacifistic (Mennonite)
I was thinking of pointing out to her the new biometric passports, and make comparisons to the mark of the beast, as found in Revelation. I don't really care if I'm overly accurate, I just want to piss her off. 🙂 lol.
<- having an immature moment.
And only one having an immature moment such as yours would think that Bush is all for killing "thousands" of Iraqis because the US went into Iraq telling all the Iraq people that he was only there for the current leadership.
Some innocents have been killed but "thouseands".... :disgust:
Are you suggesting that thousands of civilians have not been killed?
No... that is an assumption made by a simpleton.... I should have been clearer in my response. I don't hove an exact count on how many civilians have been killed. I know that the greater majority of them were enemy combatants. I can't feel bad for their loss of life and the President told them from day one that he wasn't there for anyone other that Saddam and his regime. There have been innocents killed (civilians that were not combatants) but those don't range in the thousands.
Contrary to whatever thought process you're using... We aren't over there conducting a Turky Shoot and pegging anything that moves. In military actions, there are unfortunate innocents that lose their lives.
To claim that Bush is all for going over and killing "Thousands of Iraqis" is to do nothing but ignore that we are targeting those that are trying to kill us.
Considering we went over there under false pre-tenses, any one killed there defending their country has some level of innoncence in my opinion (Not counting foreign terrorists a la Zarqawi), for if we had not started an illigitimate war, they would be alive. If someone invaded America, would you fight with all your might to defend her? Would you consider yourself a terrorist for doing so? Or maybe an enemy combattant? Who is the good guy and who is the bad guy is not as simple as black and white. That said, I don't blame either countries troops for fighting, I blame the leadership for causing the fight.
Either way, you still fail to see the fact that YES, THOUSANDS of CIVILIANS have been killed in the conflict as well.
But what would I know, I'm just a "simpleton". You "don't hove an exact count on how many civilians have been killed" but you know for sure they have not been that many. I'll take your word for it.
