Home gym?

Since OP already has an office and HT set up, this is the best idea I've seen yet.

A decent idea, but I already have a gym membership and don't want to spend thousands on equipment.

A library or craft/hobby room. Are you seriously at a loss what to do with extra space?

Already have a bookshelf in the living room. Yes I am at a loss 😛

Another guest bedroom?

A bookshelf does not a library make. How about a wine cellar? Do you have any hobbies/interests that exist outside your computer?

Put a tiger in it, and a "Absolutely do not enter or you will die" sign on the door. Throw a party. Take pics and video.

I like the bigass aquarium idea. Or you could get some monitor lizards and make the entire room their enclosure.

I second this idea. I have a mancave at home and I can't imagine not having one. It is a great place to hide/escape.

I have another idea OP. What about a bar/lounge for guests? We had a small room in our home and we bought a bar for it and put my wife's dining room table in it. It is great for entertaining.

Silly man, he has no wife or he wouldn't have any extra space in the first place.

It's a big bookshelf 😛

I have other hobbies of course but I pretty much already have room for the stuff elsewhere, e.g. I have some exercise equipment already in my bed room. I could make the 2nd bedroom into a guest bedroom but then again, I'd have to buy furniture and mattress and such that I'd never use.

if I had an extra room, I'd throw some exercise equipment in there and turn it into a work-out room.

or if it was too small, maybe a twin bed to make it into a guest room for overnight crashers.

If I wanted friends to sleep over at my house they better be female. And in which case they better be in my bed in the first place 😉 Guy friends can get a damn hotel room or sleep on the couch 🙂

dropping weights on nicely finished hardwood floors wouldn't be a good idea either.

I did some house cleaning recently and got rid of a bunch of junk that I was just storing in this room in my house that I have no use for. It's a 2 bed room house with 1 bath, living room, kitchen, and 1 additional small square room (15x15' ish in size). It is really nicely finished with polished hard wood floors and track lighting. However, I can't for the life of me figure out what to do with it. I currently use the 2nd bedroom for my computer/office room. I could get some furniture for this room so it wouldn't feel like a big closet, but I don't feel like paying thousands of dollars for furniture I would hardly ever use. So what are some good ideas of what I can do with this room?

Are you interested in home theater? Might be a good place to put a TV and other HT equipment.

My first thought...HT Room! GO Here (AVS Fourums - Home Theater Builds) and go NUTS!

Line the room with wood chips and make it a hamster sanctuary. Invite Brad and Angelina over to show it off.

-or-

Add a window and make a drive-through path around your house. Sell coffee and serve your customers while wearing a banana hammock.

make that your office, make the bedroom a bedroom, install hidden cameras, rent out the new bedroom to local college girls, invest the rental money in a webserver, retire very early
Yes, yes that's better.
