What to do with extra room in house?

I did some house cleaning recently and got rid of a bunch of junk that I was just storing in this room in my house that I have no use for. It's a 2 bed room house with 1 bath, living room, kitchen, and 1 additional small square room (15x15' ish in size). It is really nicely finished with polished hard wood floors and track lighting. However, I can't for the life of me figure out what to do with it. I currently use the 2nd bedroom for my computer/office room. I could get some furniture for this room so it wouldn't feel like a big closet, but I don't feel like paying thousands of dollars for furniture I would hardly ever use. So what are some good ideas of what I can do with this room?

1st idea: Office.
2nd idea: Guest room.
3rd idea: Library/Study.

Thats what I would do. Since you already have an office you would start at number 2.

set up an s&m dungeon?

The home theatre might be a better idea though.... less blood and candle wax to clean up

Are you interested in home theater? Might be a good place to put a TV and other HT equipment.

Do you know what the room is SUPPOSED to be? Where is it located? How many rooms does it connect to? Does it have door(s) that close? Does it have a closet? Is it supposed to be your dining room?

I have a similar situation ....

I live alone, in a 3 bedroom house, (have another bedroom in the basement too) ...

Because I like to sleep in silent cool darkness, I sleep in the basement ...

I made one of the bedrooms into a guest bedroom, I made one into an office (has 2 desks and several PCs) ... I have a 10x27 room in my basement that I'm working on making into a home theater ...

I have one bedroom that's pretty much got no use/purpose .... I don't read enough to want a library/study and I don't really need a second guest room .... I've been tempted to stick my server in there, just to isolate the noise ....

My living room is already my home theater room (120" front proj), and my 2nd bedroom is already my office.

I guess the room is supposed to be a dining room but I would never use it for that, I already have a big enough table in the kitchen. I think the previous owner used it for a 2nd living room/lounge.

yeah, it is smaller than either bedroom. I don't remember the exact dimensions, it might be like 16 or 17' square, but it is not big.

Sound proof the walls and install a nice steel vault door and you got yourself a grade A pedo-vault.

I'd make the 2nd bedroom a real bedroom and make the small room the office/mancave.

Do you have any nice collections to display? You could use it for that. Do you have a hobby that could take up a room on its own?

Home gym?

Since OP already has an office and HT set up, this is the best idea I've seen yet.

A decent idea, but I already have a gym membership and don't want to spend thousands on equipment.

A library or craft/hobby room. Are you seriously at a loss what to do with extra space?

Already have a bookshelf in the living room. Yes I am at a loss :p

A game room?
Set up a billards table, some chairs and hanging lights?

A home gym wouldn't cost a ton. A free weight set, a bench that can lay flat or be inclined and a squat bar. Should be all you need. Maybe a few mats or something. Although, you miss out on meeting ladies at the gym.
