What to do about mean feral cat?

If a cat openly attacked me, it wouldn't be a problem anymore. I'd stomp on it's head and be done with it.

I've kicked it a few times. Doesn't seem to scare it away.

It tries to sneak into my house when I'm using the door. The first time it tried, it succeeded. Once it got inside, it immediately went and attacked my cat. I was able to kick it out of the house.

(1) Watch out for the cat

(2) When you see it in or near your yard:

(2a) Rub Catnip on yourself
(2b) Grab a steel spade
(2b) Go outside, preferably upwind of said Feline.
