Definitely go with the 2005fpw LCD. Not a 17", nor a 19" (Dell's 19" has pretty crappy response times).

The 2005fpw is awesome for gaming - plus, hey, widescreen! It kicks ass for movies, too.

Just got mine for about $400 taking advantage of the last set of Dell coupons. Don't have to wait a year, either - just keep an eye on the "Hot Deals" forum.

Where's the option for "booze and hookers?"

Got a girlfriend... as for booze, I'm Asian, so I get drunk on a 4 pack...

You are a disgrace to Asians! :|

Whoa, no kidding. Takes quite a bit more than that for me. 🙂

Do you get red after half a drink like other asians I know? 😕

That looks amazing... can I really convince myself that I need this though? And is the warranty transferrable to Canadians? It would suck if I bought one then realized I have no support or warranty if it breaks.

But if I wait like another year, can't I get an even better deal? 😉

Yep, that plus a video card to run it decently. That's what I'd get.

Good point and the warranty is most likely non-transferrable to Canada.

So another vote for the 2005FPW LCD, it's amazing!
