Upon payday on Friday I'll have about $1600 in my pocket. I figure I want to buy myself something, but I'm not sure what. I think I'm choosing between..
1) 17" LCD monitor
2) PSP
3) Partial money for Laptop
4) Good set of Headphones
I don't really really need 1), I have a working monitor (17" CRT) but I think I'd want an LCD for the fun of it. PSP would be nice but I'm not that much of a gamer... I see it as a waste of time these days.
I'm thinking about a Laptop, but I don't have a huge use for that either, however it's tempting because I think about why I should get a 17" LCD when for a bit more I could get a fully functional wireless laptop with a 15" LCD...
As for headphones my EX71SLs just broke and I have no faith in high-end headphones anymore... so I was going to get a pair of $10 Sonys with a 1yr warranty, or I could blow it on Shure e3c's or something like that.
I have a 256MB mp3 player which suits me fine, runs weeks with one battery and is lighter than an Ipod.
Or should I just throw it in a GIC?
