Yeah, we removed the old fucking wallpaper last summer, and then spackled, then primed the plaster... F-- would not recommend.

Holy crap that would suck.

As of late with 2 kids (1 baby, 1 toddler) there;'s no way I'll even paint it myself like I used to. Paid someone ~$700 to paint 3 rooms with double coats. Done and done.

Been studying Genki II (roughly second year Japanese textbook) and will move onto 上級へのとびら (roughly third year book) in a few of weeks (nearly done with Genki II). And watching anime and the occasional Japanese movie which I'm not that close to really understanding, but can pick up a decent bit by now.

Catlevania has stepped up their writing for season 3. Im only a couple of episodes in so far and really like it...excellent. Too bad this isn't live action, I think it would be epic

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance
Is that a sequel to the original Jim Henson 'Dark Crystal' animatronic film? Or something unrelated?

Edit: Neat! Was Henson involved, or was the Prequel made after his death? I had never heard that there was a prequel.

Squid porn, lots and lots of squid porn.

No, not anime chicks getting 'banged' by tentacles - I watch actual squids having sex.... what?

you can binge watch:

Robotech
Person of Interest
Babylon 5
Space:1999
Night Court
Garage Sale Mysteries
Murdoch Mysteries

Ah, 'Night Court', such a classic. "$50 fine and time served!"

The earlier episodes, he had a Mac Classic on his office desk, then later seasons, it was a different PC.

let us see what to watch.....
I know -- Debbie does Dallas!
Debbie does Houston'
Debbie does Atlanta'
Debbie does Phoenix
Debbie does Washington D.C/Trump
Debbie does Indianapolis
Debbie does New York part 1 and part 2
Debbie does Congress'
Debbie does Richmond
Debbie does Women in Jail.........

I finally got around to grinding thru The Wire.
A 2006 episode makes mention of Dr Ben Carson as a shining light to black people getting into medicine.

Because most things in life involve going somewhere.

I also was like "hmmm, I got some things to work on outside and in the home"... then I realized, I needed to buy parts, mulch/dirt, etc... and I'm honestly just not willing to chance going out over the next 2 weeks.

Yeah sure on your other junk - Taxes done. I read a book as well. If you think any of that stuff is going to fill your 16 hour days for the next 2 weeks thats just not gonna happen.

i'm remodeling a bathroom. getting a few parts on amazon, but already had almost everything. i'll probably have to go to depot once we hook up the new sinks.

also, chip drop is awesome. nearly free mulch delivered! i have gotten about 25 yards so far and i pay the guys $20 per load. just got another yesterday about 9 yards.

also, our garden is going to be epic. we should have plenty of squash and other veg to make it to next year. still eating the acorn and spaghetti squash, and tomatoes from last season.

I recently watched Locke and Key and the first season of Sex Education and like them both enough to recommend. They're Netflix shows.

For some reason I thought someone mentioned it here - but I guess it was in another thread?

Either way, the HBO Documentary series McMillions on the Mcdonalds Monopoly game has been pretty fucking entertaining, so that's what I've been watching lately.

Bosch
The Mandalorian
Jack Ryan

I tried Bosch a few years ago...maybe Season 1. Just couldn't get into it...maybe because of the character Welliver played on Sons of Anarchy...A few weeks ago, out of boredom, I tried again. Wow...Damned decent show. Not a shit-ton of blood and guts and gore like most American cop shows...but good solid detective stories. Just finished Season 4.

And, if you're a reader, try the Harry Bosch books by Michael Connelly. They're even better and there are 21 of them.
