i thoguht the BCS was thrown out? ya know because at this point its pretty much useless since bama and ucla and vt got hosed.
USC and texas will go unbeaten...go on to the national championship...
who cares about the rest of the bowl games...they should just make them massive rivalry games...like Miami vs Miami st in the orange bowl, Michigan vs Ohio in the cotton bowl, Arizona vs ASU in the fiesta bowl, UCLA vs STanford in the Holiday bowl....and os on and so forth 😀

i like the bcs. makes college football exciting. and makes every game mean something.

every game already meant something.

the bcs is no more a failure at picking a national champion than the system it arguably replaced.

i like the idea of having the bcs and then just doing the +1 system. then everything would be fixed.

id like to argue that it was not, in fact, replaced at all.

What if there are 7 1 loss teams and no undefeated teams, or if there is 1 undefeated team and 4 good one loss teams? +1 solves the problem a little more then the current system, but it doesn't fix "everything".
