What time do you wake up in the morning?

weekdays: 7 am (alarm goes off at 6:30, I'll hit snooze for half an hour, and my "omgohshit" alarm goes off at 7:30 in case I really oversleep)

weekends: 10 am

Alarm at 7am, usually wake up before it around 6:30. Sometimes I'll sleep in until 8am.

New job starting next week and I have to be there at 7am, going to have to adjust to that.

Wow people get up quite early here. I used to get up 30 minutes before sunrise (530-7) on weekdays when I had college. Now I'm done an I wake up at 9.

5:00am or so on weekdays. Whenever I get up on weekends (assuming I'm not working).

I'm at work by 6:00am and get off (when working 8 only) at 2:30. 10 to 14 minute commute each way (7.7 miles).

is the EST necessary? :awe:

I would assume everyone is giving the time in their local time zone.

once upon a time I survived on 4 hr sleep for a period of ten years. Can't do that anymore, I am on 6 now.

Did it just to make olds look like a slacker

If I'm playing tennis in the morning (i.e., if it isn't raining), then 6:45AM so I can be on court by 7AM (and at work by 9:30AM).

If not, then 8:30AM.

Weekends are similar.

7:00am to 8:00am on weekdays.

11:00am to 1:30pm on weekends.

I have never been a morning person, and have a lot of trouble getting up for anything before 9am. I also have trouble sleeping before 2am. Most of the time I just lie there for an hour or more.

When my eyes open and I can't force them to stay closed...or when my back starts screaming at me to get up and move around...or when I have to piss so badly that I just can't put it off any longer.

For many years, I was up by 0230-0300 6 days per week, out the door by 0400 and if I had a "short day," I was home by 2030 or 2100 every night. (that's 8:30 or 9:00 PM for the rest of youse) IF I slept to 0600 on my day off...I really felt like I had slept in...and it screwed up my whole day. "Shit...the day's half gone already!"

Nowadays...I stay up as late as I want...sleep in as late as I want...but I rarely sleep more than 4-5 hours straight...I almost always get woken by back pain and have to get up for a while and move around. If I'm lucky, I am able to crawl back into bed for another couple of hours of sleep.

why did you have to wake up so early??

I usually wake up at 8.20 and I am at work by 9-9.15. Then sleep sometime between 1.30-3 am

6AM workdays
7AM-8AM any other time

I'm sure in 15 years when my youngest kid moves out I'll increase the sleep-in time.

I try to get up no later than 10:40am and no earlier than 10:30am on weekdays. Weekends I try not to sleep past noon. I don't get enough sleep either way.

Why? I started work at 0600...and the jobsite was usually about 100 miles from my house...with a 1-1/2 hour drive in the morning...and a 3-1/2 hour (or more) drive in the evening.

You slackers amuse me: 1:45 AM out the door by 2AM for a 1 hour ride to work then followed by a 1 hour ride right back to within a mile or two of my house to start work. Finish work by 12 or 1 PM , hour drive back to warehouse, followed by an hour drive back home. Route sales in a 40 ft long truck. Usually get to bed between 10-1030 PM. I've run like this for about 20 years. On the weekends I sleep as long as my kids will let me, usually between 7-730 am.

Peace
