Well there is nothing more to say, they are invading sooner than expected. It's time to stock up on chickens, buy some 12 guages and watch them explode!!

The front legs are bent up, but you can tell that it's not an animal that goes on its hind. It's a very thin animal and had been probably starving. I conclude that it's a dog of some sort.

Jesus H. Christ. You people who think everything is photochopped should be put to sleep.

It's not a deer; that's obvious. It's not fake; that's obvious. What is it? Could be a malnourished coyote, maybe even a breed of dog, but more likely it's a chupacabra.

edit: and people don't shoot them:roll:, they are born dead.

Whats with the long tail then?

The majority of us here DO NOT think this is a "Chupacabra" dude, but it is SOME kind of animal with an obvious affliction of some kind. But it's not fake. Just an unfortunate creature.

I'm not saying it's photoshoped, I'm saying there's strange seams and scars in the pictures that make my think it was something that was "put together." The "blood" looks like it was just thrown on, the teeth look to be an unnatural color, and there's a seam going along the neck there.

There is no seam or scars and the teeth look perfectly natural to me.

You know The planet is a big place, i think it would arrogant for people to think we have nailed down all the mammals that are here, i think a few may have slipped through the cracks.

I remember reading an artile a few months ago about a fish that was supposedly extinct for milions of years being pulled up by fishermen somewhere. I think if the pictures are legit it deserves a closer look.

I agree with this guy. It's probably a deformed coyote with mange. If you've seen a dog with mange, you'll know what I mean. They had one on Animal Police last night, poor thing was put to sleep.

Def. not a fox.

I'd say some sickly and starving coyote or dog.

I also doubt we have ALL the mammals pinned down for identification, but those that we don't are probably rodents in the Rainforests, not sizable dog-like creatures in flat, arid Texas.

The ocean is a totally different beast. We simply don't have the capabilities to be scouring the uber-deep-depths of the open blue on any sizable scale. It's not unreasonable to think that there are many species of fish that may not actually be extinct. It's kinda like the giant squid......we know they exist (one is on display, preserved at Mote Marine Lab in Sarasota, FL), but we've never seen one alive.

In 1997, a new species of deer was discovered in the mountains of Vietnam

Looks bigger than a rodent to me. There's a lot of stuff left out there. It will be found as humans keep expanding their territories and encroaching on nature.

*** Locally, the Truong Son muntjac is called "sam coi cacoong," which means "the deer that lives in the deep, thick forest."
Apparently the Vietnamese knew about it before the scientists...

that animal was found very close to where I live. and I live in a very rural community, where there's a lot of open land. I wonder if there's some living in my neighborhood.

Set some traps and see what you catch!
