L... is for the way you look... at me
O.... is for the only one... that I see
V... is very very, extraordinary
E... is even more than any one that I adore....

To me, I think that love is a feeling you have towards a person when they're not near, you long for them. When they're near, your heart skip beats. You eat, breath, sleep, and live for that other person, and even though you can live without, you'd never want to.

OMG

Love is either the most beautiful emotion, the embodiment of the good of the human race and our only hope for the long term survival of our species or a biological adaptation to further procreation that occurs when certain chemicals are present in the brain. I'm not really sure which yet.

how do you seperate love from the feeling you have while recieving affection?

example: When i laid w/ my ex i'd feel as if i never wanted that moment to end... now i'm like eh... but then i thought it was love...

Don't confuse love with the feelings you have about a person that you love. Those feelings are prone to change over time, or simply throughout the course of a day. Those feelings may be romance, passion, jealousy etc. But they are not love itself. Love is an action. It's there when the feelings are not. Feelings are to love as weight is to mass. If you love someone, it remains even when the feelings are lacking or even temporarily negative.

No one said that love is forever... love just like all things, do die.

I don't even know what love is i think.

Is it that feeling you get when you can't live without a person? Is it more than a feeling?

What is the definition of love for another person for you?

love
1 a (1) : strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties <maternal love for a child> (2) : attraction based on sexual desire : affection and tenderness felt by lovers (3) : affection based on admiration, benevolence, or common interests <love for his old schoolmates> b : an assurance of love <give her my love>

Well, the english language makes it very difficult to discuss this. I prefer Greek:

Agápe is unselfish love as taught by Christ in the Sermon on the Mount and is summed up by Paul in 1 Corinthians 13.

Philía or the love between friends.

Storgé or familial love, especially between parents and their children and also with close relatives.

Éros, which has a sexual sense and a Platonic philosophical sense. The basic meaning is attraction.

Agape : unconditional love, personified as love of God for us

Phileo : between friends; "brotherly love". thus, "phila-delphia", the "city of brotherly love"

Storge : familial

Eros : lust

🙂

You can't define love. Its something humans have the capacity to understand alone.
