I was always under the impression that "Vanilla" ice cream was the "base" ice cream flavor... then I discovered "sweet cream" which is basically unflavored (but sweetened) ice cream.

Who knew the absence of vanilla flavor could uncover so many more flavors, especially if the underlying dairy used to make the ice cream was flavorful.

You mean, there's a fruit called a "marionberry"? I though Marion Barry was a New York DA or something that got busted for Cocaine usage. Tell me I'm not crazy? Edit: How bizzare, they both exist.

I recently tried their Malted Moo Shake and it's pretty good; the richness takes some getting used to.

I just bought their Cookies and Cream and I love it. Might be my new go-to.

I tried that kind a few weeks ago since I love malt... ended up thinking it was just okay because for whatever reason I'm not crazy about hard/crunchy chocolate in ice-cream.

The other Tillamook flavors I've tried so far that I really enjoy are "Waffle-Cone Swirl" and "Oregon Cherry".... their simple varieties like vanilla however fall a bit short of both Ben & Jerrys and Haagan-Daz IMO.

They make "Italian Ice" with Lemon flavor, but wouldn't citrus juice curdle the milk in the ice cream while making it? Maybe thats why you haven't seen it as a flavor.
You make the base ice cream first and freeze a few hours to firm it up. Then mix in lemon juice, mix well again then freeze overnight.

Or you make sorbet.

I remember having lemon ice cream for at least thirty years...

And no, licorice is not an ice cream flavour for humans.

I have not bought ice cream in the last two Summers. Not in any quantity. Earlier this Summer, I had one small cup of softserve black raspberry from an Amish place just because it was hot and I needed to cool off.

I've made some stuff some people might call ice cream in my blender .... milk, ice, flavors .... turns out more like a shake in my view.

But I have not bought any from a store.

No I've seen it long ago, and theres a thousand home-made recipes online. But I wreck everything I touch, so thats a no-go.
