What the heck is this? Bud/Bud Light with tomato juice?

I drink Bud quite often but have never seen or heard of this. Bud and tomato juice? Considering Bud isn't that great of a beer to begin with I can't imagine how awful this is going to taste.

This was posted on here last summer, I think the general verdict is while in some cases, beer/clam juice/tomato juice can be tasty, the bud chelada is the nastiest thing on the planet.

The mixing of beer with clamato is similar to the mixing of beer with lime; it is done with beers that are of inferior quality to mask the taste of the shitty ass beer you're drinking. Like my mother always said; if you have to dump tomato and clam juice into anything to make it drinkable, you need to find yourself a new drink.

You shouldnt have to add anything to a real beer. By real beer i mean good drinkable tasty beer. Like a New Castle. I do realize Bud is not real beer though, so maybe that is why they added tomato juice to offset the nastiness that is Bud.

clamato with beer is very popular in mexico.

prepared correctly ( clamato , salt , lemon juice, soy sauce , english sauce , lemon pepper and a few drops of tabasco sauce ) is one of the most awesome things you can drink.

if you havent tried it dont diss it.

now, those pre-made mixes like the one in the OP generally dont taste that good.

PS. just never mix it with something nice like a guiness or any dark beers.

This stuff has been around for decades. My neighbors and roommate drink it the morning after a binge party but I'd much prefer Gatoraide. The clamato+beer stuff is an AWESOME hangover cure.
