Yep. "Aight" = short for Alright / Okay / et cetera
It's pronounced either "ah-eye-t" or "eye-t" for the extremely lazy. (rhymes with "tight")

"ight" would probably be pronounced "igg-ht" and is not correct.

I see "aight" and "coo" used mostly by stupid FOB ghetto wannabes or teenage girls.

"A'ight" is used in a few rap songs, but that's about the extent of it. Not really in common ebonic vernacular.
