The apple of my eye.

The fruit of which I desire all I spy.

The treasure chest that arises intrigue, for which I must pry.

The one to whom I will never lie.

Simply put, my wife and soulmate.

That's really sweet. ATOT isn't completely ruthless!

are you sure she is aware of this? :p

Uhhh... I didn't specifically state it in those terms. How do I go about establishing my stance of dominance?

First, check and see if your balls are in her purse. If not, you have somewhat of a chance of maintaining a stance.

I call my girlfriend. Sometimes I'll call her a ho in a jokingly way. She seems to find it hilarious and I don't understand why.

I think anyone that wrapped around the axle about a label is likely to have some other issues that will eventually come up, but not always. Good luck in your relationship. :)

Absolutely this.

I called all my significant others by their correct names:

1. Girlfriend
2. Fiancee
3. Wife

For her to insist on anything else is the starting gun sounding for you to run the other way.

Yeah it is kinda weird; I used to I refer to my S.O as my "wife" but she sometimes likes it if I say partner too?

I think it's kinda weird, especially when she's not around, because sometime people think "partner" and they think "gay".

It doesn't really bother me; but I prefer "wife" :)

Supreme ruler of the universe. Usually get a smack in the head for calling her that.

If you're talking about how to introduce her to people, why not just call her your friend? If she's not around, call her whatever you feel like calling her. Stop being such a pussy....

This has been on my mind a whole lot over the past few weeks. The woman that I am with let me know from the get go that if we begin a relationship that we will be partners. Not boyfriend and girlfriend, and never referred to be my ladyfriend. Just partners.

I'm happy about it. It's certainly one of the best relationships i've been in, but it's different. I have always referred my S.O.'s as ladyfriends, and it's somewhat difficult not to.

What do you call your significant other?

My woman.

Siegfried and Roy are “partners”. Starsky and Hutch? Partners. If you’re not gay or fighting crime on TV, the person you have sex with, monogamously, is your BF/GF, fiancée, or wife/husband.
