what supplements should i be taking?

currently cutting to get rid of all the fat i put on when i was bluking.
but my overall goal is to gain strength (and therefore size).

i am taking:
1. whey post-workout
2. casein for breakfast, and right before bed
3. multi-vitamin
4. fish oil for omega-3's

what else should i take? stuff for vascular system?

oh, want to avoid creatine so don't suggest that.

Why?

Other then what you're already taking, the only other thing I'd put out there are BCAAs. Perhaps also Beta Alanine if you want to help your recovery.

Would it be more effective to track you calorie output and input and create a well rounded menu? Then supplement from there?

It's best to take it with 16oz of juice, but I took it with my protein shake which, although not optimal, worked fine for me. Different people have different results. Oh, and AFTER your workout. If you take it before, you risk muscle damage due to the retained water.

I'll have to check what mine at home was. It worked great. Any way you do it though, make sure you get creatine monohydrate. The other stuff often times breaks down into other useless byproducts that your body can't use. Oh, and don't get a creatine + NO mix or anything. Just straight creatine mono works best :) It's cheap too! At least, the kind I got. I'll update you when I get home to see which it is.
