I'm about 80% into getting the 8-week old pup. What should I name him? I want something unique and sentimental other than regular boy names...

Yes, I thought about Ein.. maybe yes, maybe no.

I'm also thinking of naming him after my favorite classical composer, Debussy. But doesn't it sound strange?

Any suggestions welcome.

If I like it, I give full credit to 'you on internet' whenever I pick up ladies with the dog!

I told my GF we should name the 2nd one Mr. Chow. She was not nearly as amused as I.

Dog names should be no more than three syllables, FYI.

true. but that's only because they respond to 2 syllable words, right? I figure name it whatever the hell you want, it's going to respond to the first one-two syllables regardless.

I recall reading somewhere that dogs respond best to two-syllable names.

Yup, I heard two also. Debussy doesn't roll off well, as much as it's perfect for my sentimental value.

I went to the shelter and some fvcker put the corgi on hold just 30 MINUTES prior. I still went to see him. He looked so sad. A beautiful corgi too.

I've decided to buy a pup. I tried my shelter routine. =\

you being you im assuming this was for the restaurant and not the naked guy from the hangover?

me being me, I would never name my dog after a sub-par Chinese restaurant.

I would, however, name him after a naked chinese dude in a movie

My SO refused to name our female min-pin. I told her she had 24 hours to come up with something, or I would name it something she didnt like.

24 hours passed, and I named her "Sausage." She swore it wouldnt stick. We now have a 4 yr old female dog name Sausage.
