Cut off the wiring harnass, could be useful in modding (or you could make a wig out of them)

I always chop off the wire harnesses. i have like 30 and have never used one, but I am sure I will need one as soon as I toss one 😛

I use them fairly often - ad hoc Y-splitters and such.

psu have a lot of caps. i had a mobo that had bad caps and i found what i needed from an old psu. i dunno if u wanna go thru the trouble of removing the caps. they are worth almost nothing, but when u need them... boy do old psu's come in handy 😛

Hmm..... good point. My dad's mobo has a few blown caps. It still works though so I've just left it alone.

if i were u, i would find out which caps those are and look for potential replacements. once they go... it's gonna be a b!tch to get caps (finding it online, then waiting for them to arrive... just a pain in the arse).

Hmm.... I can't get these caps off with my 30w soldering iron can I?

Sure you can, it just takes slightly longer. I prefer my 60 watt'er
