Not really. ICAM (Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts Major) is a program offered through the Vis Arts department. CRCA is a research group directed by the department heads of ICAM and many of the professors.

I guess it's sort of like the research department for ICAM professors and grad students. They make us think that CRCA works closely with the CSE department and CalIT2, but I think they just say that to try and validate their artsy "research."

Gotcha. I'm a grad in the Music Department and none of this makes sense yet.
