UCSD. Go... Tritons...

Edit: 1st year MA.

Just graduated from UCSD in July.

Congrats, what degree/major?

I got a BA in Computing and the Arts. I'm working at a cool media design firm in Santa Monica now, making websites for TV and film companies. :)

Well, I'm still not sure, but its pretty much narrowed down to University of Texas, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech. I looked at other options but almost all the privates base their financial aid off of your parents even if you are an independent student by federal standards. I can get into any of the three, they all have pros and cons.

UT is the best state school in Texas. However Austin is expensive and UT has next to nothing in terms of money for transfer students.

A&M, I already live in College Station, and have alot of friends, wouldnt have to move. However A&M has even less money to give transfer students.

Tech, I could probably get full tuition + fees, + books in one scholarship, an additional $5000 scholarship and another $2000 scholarship. However, it is Lubbock.

Really though as much as A&M would hate to admit it, its College of Liberal Arts is roughly on the same level as Tech's. So really its probably going to be UT or Tech. And really its looking like Tech because well it doesnt matter where you get your undergrad degree at as long as its decent, what matters is where you get your graduate/professional degree at.
