hi guys I'm creating a website and I dunno if I should make it so that people with 640X480 or 800X600 can view it....

i run 1680X1050 btw
 
1280x1024. This is pretty much a standard resolution for LCD's so you might want to include this in your pole. 😛

you are aware that is an incorrect aspect ratio for a CRT i hope?

you should be running it at 1280x960.

if you want to retain the correct aspect ratio.

if you don't, all power to you.
 
1280x960 here (21" CRT)

I could run it at 1600x1200, but i like to be able to read everything at normal icon/text sizes...
 
Or you could always use case statements with a res detect script, and do a couple versions for the most popular resolutions...
