Game Resolution: 1920x1200
Maximum Monitor Resolution: 1920x1200
AF: 8-16x
AA: 0-2x (or 4x for an older game)
Monitor Type: LCD
Actually its 1920x1440 for 4:3 displays, 1920x1080 for 16:9 displays (HDTVs).

Ditto to everything this man just said and also its 1680x1050 not 1600. This is of course for LCD's and other PC type monitors that do 16:10 not HDTVs.

1680x1050 for everything.

Depending on the game, typical settings are 4x AA 4-8x AF..

:)

Am I missing out by not having a nice top knotch LCD (2005 level+)?

Yep.

I LOVE my 2005fp.. CRT's are nice, and had a nice 21" Sony, butttt it's not on the same level as this Dell!

:p

You could have said "Oh no they're not that great", but you had to make me want one even more than I do now ;).

1600x1200, 4xAA, 8xAF for all games except doom3 which I play at 1280x1024.

Didn't know so many pple had LCD displays!! Read the AT review on the Dell Ultrasharp and a couple more reviews on round the net, that's my next baby!!! Currently have a LaCie 21" Electron III blue CRT.

They're only great if you want a great picture and motion blur, or no motion blur but off-colors for the picture.

IE, if you're not picky, or if you don't game (much), you're golden.

It is 1680x1050 btw... minor nitpick.

I usually play at 1680x1050, sometimes the next step down 16:10 resolution (1280x800 or whatever). 4x aa, 8x af.
