If you asked me what my religion was, I'd say Christian.

If you asked me what my beliefs are, I'd say agnostic, or atheist, or whatever. Maybe even apathetic.

I hear this kind of thing a lot. Isn't that like being a "vegetarian who eats chicken"?

It's a fucking terrible read.

It's like someone who doesn't know two shits from his own dick telling you what a Gnostic is...

People like that should be shot in the balls and never permitted to breed for their fucking stupidity is the pitted stain on humanity's intelligence.

Is there any irony in the fact that you are railing against someones supposed stupidity when you apparently didn't even understand the article?

The article never purported to tell you what "a Gnostic" was. It didn't even discuss Gnostics.

The only ironing here is that you're apparently just as retarded that you can't even read the words in the article that specifically define a Gnostic.

To give you a fair shake, I went back and read the article. However, I still find you wrong.

The article is talking about gnostic, not Gnostic. There is a distinct difference depending on whether you capitalize the first letter (as you are doing) and whether you don't (as the article is doing).

Let's go to the dictionary.

gnos·tic   [nos-tik] Show IPA
–adjectiveAlso, gnos·ti·cal.
1.
pertaining to knowledge.
2.
possessing knowledge, esp. esoteric knowledge of spiritual matters.
3.
(initial capital letter) pertaining to or characteristic of the Gnostics.

As you can see (or, perhaps you can't), the article is simply talking about the first definitions. If you capitalize the "G" in "Gnostic" (which the article does not do) then you are talking about the third, which refers to a specific belief system.
