Cuddling with a female friend.

Or cooking. I love creating food. Turn me loose in the kitchen with knives, pots & pans, and some base ingredients. And I can be so relaxed and enjoy myself.

Sitting in the hot tub with my wife, looking up at the stars and drinking a nice wine.
nekkid?

I only wear clothes if I go out in public...

**bashes head against wall and pokes eyes out screaming in agony at the thought**

Your wife doesn't mind. In fact, you've never once heard her say anything about it.

I thoguth we were talking about your wife here? My wife wouldn't go near a hot tub, especially with a creepy old nekkid guy sitting in it 😛

Narcotics, listening to metal (or jazz), while laying on my back on my bed petting my cat on my chest and dozing off.

That or cranking one out and then playing WoW while zoning out.

😕

The GF hug is nice. Naps. Stargazing on a warm summer night. Getting lost on purpose. Standing outside during a severe thunderstorm. Camping in the BWCA (or anyplace naturally beautiful). Jogging. Meditation.

Edit: Forgot two things, my cats gang-lap-napping me and going out for coffee with my brother.

I've always had a difficult time relaxing...

I went trout fishing today. Lately, stress has been high (to say the least) and my wife suggested I go.

I went by myself, saw the sunrise and brought home two nice rainbows.

I'm going back next week.

getting something accomplished and having nothing on my immediate schedule... playing sports, spending time with the Mrs., watching movies, laying on the couch, spending time with friends & family... these things relax me.. mostly just closing my eyes and remembering how lucky i am to be alive and how fortunate i've been through life so far, looking forward to the future!

thinking about finishing my basement is my current relaxing thought 🙂

I used to think La-z-boys were stupid, until I got one.
Thats probably the number 1 thing for me.
2nd would be a cup of good quality hot cocoa.

3rd would be video games, 4th is poontang.

Yup, poontang is nice, but not the most relaxing thing available to me.

EDIT:
In fact, I think I'll move nookie to number 5 and take a new number 4.

Running a mile and taking a lukwarm shower.

First thing that comes to mind is laying in bed with my husband and him "holding" me. He kind of scoops me up and I feel so safe and relaxed. Also, playing with our little dog.

Besides that, a hot bath with the window open a crack for fresh air to come through. The cold/hot is both inviggorating and relaxing to me.

I would have to say that time right after the kids are tucked in for the night and I open a bottle of wine while the wife starts House or something else that we DVRed so that we can spend some quiet time together would top the list.

Golfing is incredibly relaxing for me. No matter what the round is going like, just being on the course and enjoying the beautiful layout of the course winding through our neighborhood and feeling close to nature is almost intoxicating.

Getting hugs from the kiddies is always nice also.

Lastly would be a meditation cd that I have. Putting it on and lying on the bed with the curtains drawn shut is incredibly relaxing and truly invigorating to me.
