What Refresh Rate of your monitor do you run your games at?

i try to run at my destop res on my 19" which is 1280x960 at 100hz. so 100hz. never any higher cuz i don't want to run at lower hz

I dont understand what you are saying. We are talking about monitor refresh rates. It generally has nothing to do with software (except maybe drivers). Its about the refresh rate that a mkonitor is set to. Are you saying after changing the refresh rate of your monitor you can no longer use your desktop icons? There is a screen refresh which is more like a update/redraw, maybe this is what you are referring to?
