What profession do you despise most?

Definitely lawyers and most long-term politicians. It always seems like they're decent when first elected, but end up becoming the usual partisan scum (*cough*RussFeingold*cough).
 
I said used car salesman. Damn near every one of them is out to screw you (financially, quit thinking like that!), but at least there are some decent lawyers, true, they're usually the ones fresh outta law school doing pro bono work for the homeless, but they're not always scum!

I don't see telemarketers as despicable either. It's not their fault that can't find a better job so they do what the Corporate A$$ Clowns tell them to do!
 
You should not have grouped lawyers with politicians. Granted, they are both probably equally hated, but wouldn't it have been interesting to see which one is hated more? You could have grouped televangelists/farmers together if you wanted, but why?
 
I'm torn between the male gay prostitution and the Corporat a$$holes. If your big business but not an a$$hole, then that's cool

What bothers me is why do we have so many TV shows devoted to lawyers? Why try to glorify this profession? We have way too many lawyers. Like you said, they're parasites of society and they don't produce anything of much value, etc.

Why not have more TV shows on real productive members of societies -- like engineers and computer scientists? Why not try to glorify these professions? I wanna see more TV shows to make engineer and computer geeks more attractive to women!!!! I'm tired of seeing women being attracted to those handsome lawyers on TV. I wanna see them attracted to geeks!!!!

Who else is with me on this revolution of society?!?!?
 
It's not up there, but I *HATE* educational psychologists. Sound weird? Well, it is but somehow they turn out to be the most judgmental and strange SOBs I've ever had to deal with. They've cost me a job opportunity, and they've cost me a fine in university. I give this profession a big two thumbs down.
 
How about whoever administers STD tests for men. You now, they have to stick a swab in your little guy and get a sample...I'm glad I'm not that person, nor do I ever want to meet these people (at least "professionally").
 
my parents are both IRS agents, i don't see what is wrong with them. people have to pay taxes. there have to be people to collect them. and they do it fairly.

so i'm glad noone has voted IRS agents...yet
