<< Terrorists... >>

Agreed...terrorists can eat a d*ck

Also, I think that since every job gets paid what society thinks they're worth, then everybody who does them is what we deserve...*except* for labor groups that unionize

Grouping lawyers and politicians together really isn't fair. Say what you want to about lawyers, but with them you ALWAYS know where their loyalties lie. Politicians on the other hand...

Why not have more TV shows on real productive members of societies -- like engineers and computer scientists? Why not try to glorify these professions? I wanna see more TV shows to make engineer and computer geeks more attractive to women!!!! I'm tired of seeing women being attracted to those handsome lawyers on TV. I wanna see them attracted to geeks!!!!

LOL yeah... an hour drama of a programmer coding... sounds like you should pitch it to CBS ;)

I think marketing/advertising people are the most devious. They're out to screw everyone, and they do research out the butt to find the best times, places, and ways to trick people into thinking their product is good.

<< Lawyers...parasites of society. >>

What bothers me is why do we have so many TV shows devoted to lawyers? Why try to glorify this profession? We have way too many lawyers. Like you said, they're parasites of society and they don't produce anything of much value, etc.
>>

i hope you never get charged with a crime then. i know that some lawyers are worthless and are parasites, but without lawyers there would be a LOT more problems in the world. hmmm right to fair trial...? be kinda hard to get a fair trial if i didn't understand a particular law..i would probably hire someone that can help. ignorance is bliss.

Can you please separate lawyers from politicians? Not fair! :(

I do not despise lawyers but I do not like politicians at all! Nonetheless, as I speak, we have some politicians in our family . . . or soon to be politicians, anyway.

I don't like psychics either.

Ugh! I'm starting to have a flashcard of all my dislikes. I detest salesmen, televangelists, and to name a few more at the same magitude!!!! :| :(

Not all those are professions...according to the definition of a profession...they are mostly jobs/careers.

Profession: An occupation, such as law, medicine, or engineering, that requires considerable training and specialized study.

Mental Health Professionals, more specifically the inpatient care giver variety... lol, one of the reasons I got out of the fields is all the hyprocritical,self-serving BS we inflicted upon people in the name of "treatment"

I did a group project last week on occupational prestige. Lawyers and politicians tend to find themselves both at the top and the bottom of the list of surveys. Personally I've had bad experiences with landlords and certain lawyers.

Ummm, how did you know how to split the lawyers/polititians vote? I would prefer that my vote be entered into the lawyers bin.

Next you'll be saying they should have their own schools! ;)

glenn1Are you asking which profession I'd most despise working in, or the people who work in which profession I can't stand?

Well, the former category lawyers/politicians was renamed simply "politicians," and i created a new category "lawyers", so the lawyer crowd may be slightly underrepresented in the vote tally, and politicians overly so. Not like this is a scientific poll...

I leave that choice up to you ;)

Politicians, more specific lifetime ones like ChritonsGirl suggested. They are arrogant and self righteous scum who parade behind the "I'm here for you" Slogan while all the time the only thing on their agenda is "ME ME ME!".

I lump them right there with lawyers, but they actually "win" the prize since they have a higher probability of screwing my everyday life over.
