I voted for Core2duo although my second system is an AMD x2. Its currently being stripped for sale but will be replaced with a smaller mobo and AM2 cpu. So your poll has torn me in half.

Lol, well the poll is supposed to be for your 'primary rig', but ya can't beat having the best of both worlds...a Core2Duo and an X2 :)

I might build a small secondary rig with a brisbane 3600+ X2 in it for some Mame games and stuff.

ive got an e4300. running at stock, because i use an intel branded board, and havent done the pin mod (have the wire trace pen already though). its plenty fast for what i do, so i figured why bother.

Today I run an opty 175. When the ups man gets here it'll be c2d e6400. I did this out of necessity as my corsair xms is dying and I refuse to buy more ddr. I went ahead and moved to a ddr2 platform and c2d seemed like the best choice. Sorry amd but I'm going back to the dark side.

Box I am currently running on is AMD64 3700+ with a mild OC. My dual-box is an old school Athlon Mobile 2600.

The big rig that is currently being built is a C2D 6400. Waiting on some additional cooling and a new Raptor drive before I fire her up full time and allow her to take place as my primary rig.
