I work in a tech support department and besides some of the customers making me go nuts, which i already expect, i hate some of my other co-workers that have been here for a while and take like almost no calls all day long. One of them probably takes 1 call a day while I probably took already 20 this morning.
Management doesn?t do anything about it, they will send an email remind people to take calls during there schedule hours, that last about a day or so and then back to old ways.

I don't think I ever got pissed off at my work. Gotten stressed but never mad nor anything like that.

I hate dealing with jackass homeowners who think their house is worth way more than it is.
Then when I explain that 3 houses on their street sold for 25K less than they think it's worth they tell me; "well the furnace, the kitchen cabinets and bathtub is new".
Gee, I didn't know that required maintenece increased value.

I hate when they ignore issues because addressing them would cause an extra 20 minutes of work.

for example... a few weeks ago, I had a server's hdd die on me. I checked in the internal notes about the server, and I see that the drive had to be taken down and manually FSCK'd (via a rescue cd) several dozen times over the past few months. Rather than taking pro-active action, and contacting the client to schedule ghosting the drive onto a brand new one, or migrating onto an upgraded server, they all took the easy way out. You'd think that after the third or fourth time, it would occur to someone "hey, maybe there's something wrong with this drive!" But rather, nothing was done about it until the drive completely died, at which point there was really nothing we could do, except restore the client's server from his most recent tape backup.

stupid things like that. and not cleaning up after themselves... I hate trying to wade through 200' of ethernet cable trying to trace a wire just because they were too lazy to zip-tie the wires and move them somewhere out of the way when they racked the server.

When the bosses come up with new things to do that'll require 2 hours out of the day while everyone is already overloaded. Also that I'm included in these plans when I'm only working like 25 hours a week because of school.

The fact that my job is non-existant :( Unemployment sucks! And all the high school and college kids are taking up all the unskilled labor jobs...

yes lazy i hate it, and if i take an extra call i don't get paid. And i really hate when its almost closing time and there are people waiting on hold and you can leave until they are all taken care of and some of my co-workers dont answer at all and i end up taking the call because i want to go home and sometimes they get there girlfriends or wife to call them up few minutes before its over so they act like they are busy.

Customers who call saying our website causes a fan to turn on....

There is only two of us in our dept. at the moment and she spends more time away than at her desk every day.

She also takes credit for me explaining something to her.. turns around and uses her fancy tongue to try and make it sound all technical when its really not that difficult to understand. She SHOULD NOT BE doing tech support.

My supervisor has no clue bout what our processes or what we do to fix problems she just calls us gadgeteers. Problem happens and they go to supervisor she comes to us to ask how to fix it.

I'm an appraiser. Underwriters barely know how to value anything. They just make sure you're following the fannie mae guidelines.

I hate it that without a PhD in physics you are insignificant here.

I hate it that I have to do radiation surveys.

I dislike the fruitcake academic types that come here straight from their university and don't know how the real world works.
